Chrissy McKaigue has been named as Derry senior team captain for the 2016 season.
After rotating the captaincy for the early part of the season manager Damian Barton, was calling for all his players to show leadership.
Last week before the Fermanagh game, Barton announced Slaughtneil man McKaigue as team captain.
