Familiar Face back with The Glen

Liam Bradley is back in charge of his native club Glenullin as they aim to bounce straight back to the senior grade after their relegation at the end of last season.  Following spells in charge of Antrim, Claudy and Donegal outfit Malin 'The Baker' is back to his roots where is managed them to their 2007 John McLaughlin Cup triumph.

It was Claudy marksman Aaron Kerrigan's injury time goal that sealed Glenullin's fate but Bradley will know all about the Intermediate League and will have his side well tuned in for the challenges ahead.  They will be highly fancied to bounce back, but will have the likes of Castledawson, Foreglen and Steelstown to contend with - all of whom have experience in the senior ranks.

Another twist is that they have made an application  to enter the senior championship and with no ruling against it, it is likely to be approved.  What's the betting that Glenullin pull Claudy in the first round where Bradley's nephew Michael O'Kane is the manager.

In Slaughtneil, as expected Mickey Moran and Mickey McShane are back in charge of the senior football and hurling teams respectively.  It as welcome continuity as the Emmets put their county titles on the line this season.

Elsewhere Limavady will have Ballinascreen man Mickey Boyle in charge of their senior team this season.  Relegated from Intermediate last season the Wolfhounds will be looking to follow the example of Faughanvale and come straight back up again.
