Derry U14 school champions St Colm's Draperstown will not know their Ulster opponents until the New Year.
St Colm's are due to play the Donegal winners but their competition is running behind.
On Wednesday Carndonagh had a convincing 5-11 to 2-5 semi-final win over Glenties to setup a final meeting with PCC Falcarragh.
With the game not until January manager Benny Heron will have his ear to the ground for any nuggets of information from the North West as they prepare for a challenge in the Ulster series.
