School Aid Romania is one of the most active fundraising projects across the country. Not only does it give young people an opportunity to get involved in changing the lives of others but there is a terrific social aspect in bringing people together.
St Patrick's Maghera pupil Therese Mellon has had another eventful year on the camogie field and is going back to scene of her sporting roots for this Run, Walk, Crawl event on Sunday 3rd January leaving from Slaughtneil pitch at 1pm.
The route isn't finalised but will be flat and aimed at all abilities and ages.
So after the Christmas festivities and when the New Year resolutions kick in, why not get a gang together, have a bit of fun and raise money to help with poverty in Romania.
