Conor McGurk Cup

Ulster's hurlers will put their wheels in motion for the 2016 season with participation in the Conor McGurk Cup  In memory of former member of Queen's Hurling club, it is a fitting tribute and gives teams a perfect chance to get geared up for the league in the same way footballers can use the McKenna Cup.

Derry are in Group B with Down, Donegal and St Mary's. New Antrim boss PJ O'Mullan will take his Antrim team into the Group A campaign against Queen's, UUJ and Armagh.

The competition is run in conjunction with Queen's University and will commend on Saturday 2nd January.

In the event of equal points, final standings will be decided on the head to head results in the group in the first instance and by scores accumulated overall in the three games should the first criteria not separate teams.
